Dr. Scott P. McHone, CPA, PhD has been providing accounting solutions since 1986. Along with being a Certified Public Accountant, Scott is also a Certified Forensic Accountant® and a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and has also earned a certificate in Six Sigma. Scott owns and operates a CPA firm in California and is also the Executive Director of the American Board of Forensic Accounting®.

Dr. Beverley Allene

RFI, DBA, MBA, BBA, PhD

Dr. Alleyne is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Belmont University in Nashville TN. She taught as an adjunct for the Undergraduate School of Business Administration beginning in 2003. Dr. Alleyne earned her BBA with an emphasis in Information Systems and an MBA in Accounting at Long Island University in New York. She was awarded her DBA in 2010 from Argosy University in Sarasota FL and is a Registered Forensic Investigator through the American Board of Forensic Accounting.

Dr. Alleyne’s business experience includes serving as an Internal Control Manager, Diversity Officer, and Financial Analysis Manager for Prudential Financial in New Jersey and positions ranging from Data Analyst to Financial Auditor for Equitable Life Assurance (now AXA Financial) in New York.

Christopher Aryee

Christopher Aryee is a highly accomplished finance professional with a diverse and extensive background in accounting and financial investigations. He serves as an IRS Enrolled Agent, a Chartered Certified Accountant, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana (ICAG). Christopher is also licensed as a CPA in Canada and is a Certified Forensic Accountant and a Registered Forensic Investigator through the American Board of Forensic Accounting. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated a passion for financial accuracy, integrity, and justice within the areas of forensic accounting, taxation, international accounting, and financial investigations.

Stuart has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1993 and has extensive audit, accounting, and investigative experience in the financial services, education, and health care arenas. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor over Program Integrity at a large state agency and is a sole proprietor of his own firm in the Sacramento Valley. Stuart is also a Government Forensic Accountant, a Certified Forensic Accountant, a Registered Forensic Investigator, and a Licensed Health Auditor in addition to being both a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Forensic Accounting.

Dr. Crumbley is a professor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and teaches courses in both Fraud and Forensic Accounting as well as Petroleum Accounting. He is also a Certified Forensic Accountant and Registered Forensic Investigator in addition to being both a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Forensic Accounting. Over the years, he has instructed at several universities including Louisiana State University (Emeritus), Penn State University, New York University, the University of Florida, the University of Southern California, and Texas A&M University, where he has taught for over four decades.

Tricia-Ann Smith DaSilva

Tricia-Ann is a Director at PwC Jamaica and has more than 14 years experience in the accountancy profession, providing services to Assurance clients. Tricia-Ann has gained experience in financial, internal, and IT audits in varying industries. She has extensive experience in the review of consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS and reporting on the accounts of groups of companies. Her experience also includes the review of complex transactions including reorganizations. In addition to being a member of the Advisory Board of ABFA, Tricia-Ann is also on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Champions Task Force – Women Initiative Executive Committee and the Board of Directors for Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Kingston. She is also the Treasurer of ISACA Kingston and Member Trustee for Mentors Limited (2006) Superannuation Fund.

Chief Operating Officer, American Board of Forensic Accounting

Dr. Brian Harte is a Full Professor within the Collins College of Professional Studies at St. John’s University in Queens NY. He received a PhD in Business Administration from Touro University in New York City and has over 20 years of experience teaching students at both the college and university levels. Brian is an international award winning researcher and has published articles in several academic journals including, but not limited to, the Journal of Management and Business, the Journal of Applied Financial Research, and the Journal of Forensic and Investigative Accounting. He is also a Government Forensic Accountant, a Registered Forensic Investigator, and a Licensed Health Auditor with the American Board of Forensic Accounting.

Dr. Carole Huberman-Talerico

CPA, CFE, BBA, MST, CRFAC, PhD

Dr. Huberman is an Associate Professor of Public Administration at Barry University in Miami FL. She earned her BBA and MST degrees from Temple University, a MPA from Penn, and her PhD from Union University in Jackson TN. Dr. Huberman also received a Certificate in Evaluation and Institutional Research from the University of Wisconsin in 2019. She is a Certified Forensic Accountant through the American Board of Forensic Accounting.

Dr. Huberman’s business experience includes senior executive roles at the Pennsylvania Department of Auditor and the Pennsylvania Department of Treasury. She believes “higher education provides every individual with a pathway to income and social equity” and that “Education is the great socio-economic equalizer.”

John is the managing member of Janicek Valuation and Forensic Services, PLLC. He has over three decades of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and has earned business valuation and forensic evidence credentials from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), the American Board of Forensic Accounting (ABFA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Forensic CPA Society.

John is also a member of the committee of the Tennessee Society of CPAs that plans the Forensic and Valuation Services Conference held each Fall. He has provided expert witness testimony in both federal and state courts on business valuation and forensic accounting evidence. The primary focus of John’s practice is to provide business valuation, litigation support, and forensic accounting services.

Ilya is Vice President of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance in New York City. He is a Certified Public Accountant who brings more than fifteen years of accounting and audit experience in the financial and insurance industries in addition to being a Certified Forensic Accountant with the American Board of Forensic Accounting. He received his BA from CUNY Hunter College and an MA in Taxation from the Villanova School of Law. Ilya is a leader in transformation and reorganization projects, IPO preparation, Acquisition and Divestitures, SOX compliance, Internal Audit, and other key business initiatives and audit engagements. Combining his experience with continued education in the accounting and fraud areas, Ilya exemplifies excellence and drive that motivates positive professional change.

Thomas T. Ueno

Director of Education and Training, American Board of Forensic Accounting

Mr. Ueno is a manager of Ueno & Hoe CPAs LLC and principal of Thomas T. Ueno CPA in Honolulu HI. He is a Certified Forensic Accountant with the American Board of Forensic Accounting. Thomas received his BBA and MBA from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. He is qualified and experienced in litigation support and forensic accounting and as a Certified Public Accountant (Certified in Financial Forensics) has experience in auditing and management consulting, serving as an expert witness and consultant. Thomas was partner-in-charge of an international CPA firm’s consulting department in Honolulu where he directed information management projects, development of strategic plans, and business rescues. He directed the firm’s litigation support practice and was a member of the firm’s national litigation support committee. Thomas served as the firm’s liaison for its management consulting operations in the Asia-Pacific area and served on the firm’s national government services committee.

Dr. Jennifer Weske

Dr. Jennifer Weske is the department chair for undergraduate accounting and the director of the Master of Accountancy program at Christian Brothers University in Memphis TN. She received her BBA from Steven F Austin University in Nacogdoches TX, her MBA from the University of Memphis, and her PhD from North Central University in Minneapolis MN. Dr. Weske is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and a CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant). She is a Certified Forensic Accountant through the American Board of Forensic Accounting. Dr. Weske focuses on research in forensic accounting, fraud, cyber security, and ethics. She is a NASBA certified instructor and teaches the Tennessee State Ethics training to CPAs throughout the state. In addition, Dr. Weske is active in the local chapter and state board of accountancy. Teaching is Dr. Weske’s passion and she works to help students grasp and apply difficult concepts.
